Born on Geary street, raised on Bush Street in San Francisco, it wasn’t until my teens that I realized how sublime this city was. It was around this time that I first started taking sprawling city walks, really grew to appreciate SF, and understand how blessed I was to grow up there. With that blessing grew a sense of wanting to contribute something back, but in a way that did not immediately reveal itself to me.
In my teens, I learned to make videos, take pictures, and became a creator, but it wasn’t until my early twenties that my way to give back to the city crystallized. I decided then to make San Francisco neighborhood portraits through the medium of video. As my style has refined, the project has since evolved more into the medium of photography. Over the past decade, I’ve not only made portraits of homes, stores, and buildings all over San Francisco, but also in multiple cities across the country, even some overseas, and continue to do so to this day. I’m currently working in between San Francisco and Los Angeles.
